In his 10 years as an economic development professional, Miles has completed projects resulting in 500 jobs retained & 341 new jobs created, 9 businesses recruited and over $3.57 million in grants obtained. Miles has also coordinated the formulation of area development plans and the implementation of the Hutchinson Downtown Revitalization Master Plan, which resulted in more than $13 million in new investment downtown.

I have recently completed a planning internship for the City of Avon, MN.  In the spring of 2010 I will graduate from Saint Cloud State University (SCSU) with a Planning & Community Development major and Finance minor.  I am excited to work for the City of Hutchinson and with the Hutchinson Economic Development Authority (EDA).  The Hutchinson EDA is an ideal agency to work for and I am appreciative for this opportunity.
