In his 12 years as an economic development professional, Miles has completed projects resulting in 500 jobs retained & 339 new jobs created, 9 businesses recruited and over $3.62 million in grants obtained. Miles has also coordinated the formulation of area development plans and the implementation of the Hutchinson Downtown Revitalization Master Plan, which resulted in more than $13 million in new investment downtown.

I am currently majoring in Planning and Community Development. I will be graduating from St. Cloud State in the spring of 2012 with a B.A. in Planning and Community Development. I am fortunate for this internship opportunity with the Hutchinson EDA and plan on learning as much as I can. This is a whole new experience for me and I look forward to serving your community.
